📚 What is your educational approach?
At Treetops, we follow the New Zealand Early Childhood Curriculum, Te Whāriki, which focuses on empowering children to learn and grow through play. Our approach is child-led and holistic, supporting each child’s unique strengths, interests, and cultural identity. We create a nurturing and stimulating environment where tamariki feel safe, valued, and encouraged to explore the world around them. We are also inspired by Reggio Emilia educational philosophy and the Pikler philosophy. Our Philosophy Tree clearly depict these principles.

🎓 How do you support school readiness?
We prepare tamariki for school by building strong foundations in social, emotional, and cognitive development. Our Kaiako encourage independence, problem-solving, communication, and self-regulation - essential skills for a smooth transition to primary school. We also foster early literacy and numeracy through fun, age-appropriate activities, and our routines help children become confident, capable learners ready for the next step in their education journey.
